This is kind of an embarrassing moment, but a testament to how strong my imagination is ever since I was a child. You are free to laugh, it’s okay, I don’t mind.
So anyway, this happened way (really way) back when I was still in kindergarten. We were in class and the teacher was discussing something in front. I had a crush back then (oh shut up, don’t judge me) and she was sitting approximately two columns to my right and one row forward, and I can see her clearly. I looked at her while I leaned on my table with my left arm. Needless to say, a few seconds later, I started daydreaming.
During those times, Bioman was still “it”. And so not surprisingly, I daydreamed that I was Blue 3 (you can start laughing now). And my crush was kidnapped by the monster of the week. And so I battled this monster, to the best of my abilities, but after about 5 minutes of fighting, my powers began to fade, I started to weaken, and the monster had overpowered me. I turned back to my normal form, in school uniform that is, and the monster was holding my crush, laughing horrendously.
It was weird because while the monster was laughing, it was calling me by my first name. It called me twice, and by the third time, it was shouting. Back in the real world, I realized that our teacher was calling me, so I stood up immediately. To this day I couldn’t remember what the teacher asked, but when she did, I was still caught up in my dream world that all I could say was “Ma’am, sorry hindi ko po masasagot ang tanong niyo, wala pa po akong powers.”
By the time I realized what had happened, the entire classroom was in complete laughter. Our teacher, even the yayas waiting outside, were laughing at what I had just said.
I swear this all happened and I’m not making this up. My yaya back then is still alive, and she can still remember the day it all happened; like she would ever forget that.

Did your vivid imagination fade as you got older?

Not really, at least I don’t think so. It’s quite helpful so I wouldn’t want it to fade away.
